A new storage material for rewritable blue-light DVD

چکیده

A category of new photochromatic storage material has been found suitable for rewritable digital video disc (DVD). The ratio of transmissivity before and after the write-in process is 3:1 at X = 450 n m (blue) and 1:7 at X = 650 nm (Ed), with a transition time of 2-3 ns. The number of write-erase cycles is about 1,000. MO aor PC can have the same advantage. However, since there are some specid difficulties, PK materials have not been widely investigated. This p a p presents a category of organometallic material with a photochromatic effect that is suitably using for the storage media of a rewritable blue-light DVD. Moreover, it can be also used for a rewritable red-light DVD before blue-light laser diode is commercially available.
